Responsibilities
  • Program Coordination:
    • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the BWB Internships program, including defining objectives, goals, and key performance indicators.
    • Collaborate with various departments to identify internship opportunities and define project scopes.
    • Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of interns.
    • Monitor and evaluate intern performance and ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Intern Support:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for interns, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing guidance throughout the internship.
    • Facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance intern skills and professional growth.
    • Organize regular meetings and check-ins to provide feedback and gather insights.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of internships, including schedules, project details, and evaluations.
    • Generate reports on program performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines pertaining to internships.
  • Promotion and Outreach:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the BWB Internships program to potential candidates.
    • Collaborate with educational institutions and career centers to attract top talent.
    • Attend career fairs and networking events to raise awareness about the program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of internship best practices and labor regulations.
  • Prior experience in coordinating internships or similar programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the transportation or infrastructure industry is desirable but not required.
