Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist in various projects related to housing development, management, and policy implementation.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on housing market trends, demographics, and policy frameworks to support decision-making processes.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to various departments within BC Housing, including data entry, file management, and document preparation.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community engagement initiatives, outreach programs, and stakeholder consultations to gather feedback and insights on housing initiatives.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of housing policies, guidelines, and strategies aimed at addressing housing affordability, accessibility, and sustainability.
  • Report Writing: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Urban Planning, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration, etc.).
  • Strong interest in housing issues, community development, and public policy.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
